A new offering from the oldest continuously family owned Champagne house, Lanson Green Label sets a new standard in sustainability and environmental stewardship. Made from organic grapes from the Domaine de la Malmaison in Verneuil, it is also ECOCERT and USDA certified organic, and Demeter certified biodynamic. The bottle is made from thinner, lighter glass than usual Champagne bottles, reducing the fuel needed for shipping, and the resulting carbon emissions. Even the label is made from recycled paper! While this is a model for environmentaly sound Champagne, it is also such a delicious and unique wine.

In the glass it is golden with a fine mousse, aromas of white peach, apricot, and citrus popping out. Stone fruits are joined by pear and spice on the palate, with a firm and persistent minerality. A hit with oysters or our Seacuterie Board, it’s also excellent with any celebration, or just because.
